* Praelongorthezia praelonga (Douglas) — citrus orthezia (Fig. 1, K)

Occurs from southern Mexico to northern South America and widespread in the Caribbean; polyphagous, feeding on plants belonging to 32 families; a pest of citrus.

Collection data. Widespread, common, and frequently found in enormous numbers. Gros-Islet Parish: Cas en Bas, massive population on Coccoloba uvifera (Polygonaceae), 22.viii.2013 ; Rodney Bay, Bougainvillea (Nyctaginaceae), Schefflera arboricola and various woody and herbaceous plants, 16–25.viii.2013 .
