Coccus hesperidum L. — brown soft scale

Cosmopolitan, widespread in the Lesser Antilles; polyphagous, feeding on plants belonging to 130 families; a major pest of citrus and many other crops and ornamental plants. Recorded from Saint Lucia by CABI (1972a) and Malumphy (2012, on an unspecified plant).
