– Elytral punctation restricted to basal half, at least one (third) row of foveae reaching base; foveae large and deep, widely spaced from base to apex; sometimes also sutural (first) row of fine, small, closely spaced foveae similarly extended. Femora yellowish, only their distal quarters to fifths black or dark brown (Figs 2–3)..................... P. timberensis sp. nov.
