Remarks. For material examined and redescription, see Ahrens (2004a). The distribution of this species is mainly in northern India and the lower Himalaya (Ahrens 2004a, 2006); in China, it is known only from Ta-tsien-lu, the type locality of Serica tsienluana Brenske, 1897 . No recent records are known.
