9- Chlamydotheca arcuata (Sars, 1901)

Argentinian distribution: Buenos Aires, Corrientes, Formosa, Mendoza, Misiones.
Ecology: This species was found in streams, warm springs, temporary ponds, and thermal environments. It was recorded at altitudes around 1338 m a.s.l., temperatures between 19.5 and 21.6 ºC, in alkaline waters (pH: 7.6–8.8), with electrical conductivity ranging between 1.3 and 2.9 mS/cm and dissolved oxygen between 19 and 71%.
