Argentinian distribution: La Pampa, Río Negro.

Ecology: This species was found in permanent environments such as springs and lakes. It was observed at altitudes between 5 to 279 m a.s.l., and wide electrical conductivity range (4800–17200 μS/cm), which means it favours slightly saline waters.
