Xyleborus decorus Schedl, 1960: 110 . Unnecessary replacement name.

Remarks. A paralectotype (NHMUK) was examined. The species has the characteristics of Microperus given above for M. abbreviatus and it is here transferred to that genus.

Distribution. East & West Malaysia.
