Material examined. Holotype, female, Malaysia: Kuala Lumpur, leg. Stankovic. The holotype is deposited in the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences (IRSNB), Brussels, Belgium (only examined by images).
Comments. The species has antennomeres 3–11 distinctly annulated with grayish white pubescence at base, elytra decorated with two transverse yellowish pubescent bands, basal band very vague, incomplete, and posteromedial band very conspicuous, undulate. It is distinctly different from other members of this genus in its ventral surface without punctures, and elytra not mottled, with a distinct posteromedial transverse band.
