HT, ♁: S. Paulo, Brasilia; Brunner v. W. et Redtenbacher det. 1903 Type; Dyme abnormis Br. v. W.

Comment: Here transferred from the genus Bacteria Berthold, 1827 . Examination of the specimen places this species in the genus Paraleptynia Caudell, 1904, which is restricted to south-central South America. This is for instance, seen in the slender, cylindrical and elongate head, short antennae that are notably shorter than the profemora and morphology of the terminalia.

Valid name: Paraleptynia abnormis (Brunner v. Wattenwyl, 1907) n. comb.
