Material examined. Holotype male: BRAZIL, São Paulo, Salesópolis, Estação Biológica de Boracéia, 11.xi.1988. New Records: Bahia, Camacan, Reserva Serra Bonita: 1 male, 2 females, 08–09.v.2007, light trap, Rafael, J.A. & Xavier Filho., F.F. Camacan, Res. Serra Bonita (15°23’28”S / 39°33’56”W, 820m a.s.l.): 1 male, 03.xi.2009, entomological net, Calor, A.R. et al.
Diagnostic characters. General coloration light brown, forewing length 12.4–14.5 mm in males and 14.1–18 mm in females; tergum 10 of male triangular, apex rounded; male paraprocts broad, ascending portion concave mesally, apex rounded; male subgenital plate with small apical notch; pronotum of nymphs with a pair of long spines, meso- and metanotum with a pair of long anterior spines and an unpaired posterior one; abdominal terga 1– 10 with spines, spine of tergum 9 may be a little longer, spine of tergum 10 long and almost straight.
Remarks. This species is recorded from São Paulo and Bahia States, Brazil.
