Type material. Holotype ♂ —“I ndia: Maharashtra, Poona, Date?, Coll. Wroughton ” [NHMUK], examined by RW.
Diagnosis. This species is clearly recognizable from congeners in having LID ≥ 0.5× UID; OOL 2× POD; an- tennae moderately thick; clypeus with sides oblique, apex transverse; pronotum semi-transverse, laterally produced into triangular teeth; mesonotum flatfish, with two longitudinal furrows; furrow on mesopleura narrow; almost glabrous body with setose propodeum; wings hyaline.
Distribution. India (Maharashtra) (Cameron 1889).
