Cryptocandona tsukagoshii Smith, 2011

(Fig. 7 B)

2011 Cryptocandona tsukagoshii n. sp. —Smith: Figs. 5 E–H, 7, 8.

Material examined. One female from a small spring flowing from a limestone outcrop along the banks of a shallow, fast flowing stream at Oksan-ri, Angang-up, Gyeongju-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do (36º01′0 1.7″N, 129º09′35.7″E) (locality 9 on Fig. 1), 7 June 2011.

Remarks. Previously this species was only known from one locality in Shiga Prefecture, Japan (Smith 2011), and so is a new record for Korea. In Japan, it was found interstitially in a gravel bar of a river. The dorsal margin of the Korean specimen is slightly more arched and angular than Japanese specimens, but the other features of the carapace and the appendages closely resemble those of the type specimens.
