Stenocypris hislopi Ferguson, 1969

1969 Stenocypris hislopi n. sp. —Ferguson: 68, fig. 1, 2–6.

Material examined. Six females from Oksan Stream beside Dokrakdang (old house), Oksan-ri, Angang-up, Gyeongju (36º01′0 0″N, 129º09′36″E) (locality 9 on Fig. 1), 2 September 2010.

Remarks. This species is known from India, Sri Lanka, Japan and Korea, from a variety of temporary and permanent habitats, including rice fields, pools, ponds, dried mud and the littoral zone of a lake (Ferguson 1969; Bhatia & Mannikeri 1975; Jain 1975; Bhatia & Singh 1976; Neale & Victor 1978; Okubo & Ida 1989; Okubo 1990b; Kim & Min 1991a; Smith et al. 2011).
