Diagnosis. Stenoloba basiviridis differs externally from related species by broad forewings, brownish ash-grey ground colour with light greenish tint and contrast salad-green basal and subbasal fields. The species has been described from Prov. Zhejiang based on a single female (Draudt 1950). The female genitalia of S. basiviridis described by Kononenko & Ronkay (2000); male genitalia described and illustrated by Han & Kononenko (2009). Kononenko & Ronkay (2000) placed S. basiviridis in same species-group with the newly described species S. dominula and S. domina . The examination of the male genitalia Han & Kononenko (2009) confirmed the placement of the species.
Distribution. South and Southwest China (Prov. Fujian, Prov. Zhejiang). New fresh material on this species have been collected in Prov. Fujian.
