Specimens examined. SÃO FRANCISCO DE PAULA: 17 specimens on Pouteria salicifolia Spreng., Myrcia divaricata Lam., Myrcia retorta Cambess. and Baccharis dentata Vell.), July 2014; 6 specimens on Ilex sp. and Myrcianthes pungens O. Berg, October 2014.

Previous records in Rio Grande do Sul. Ilópolis and Putinga (Gonçalves et al., 2013).

Comments. This species was described from specimens collected in the “Serra do Japi ” ecological reserve, state of São Paulo, Brazil. The first record in Rio Grande do Sul state was on yerba mate ( Ilex paraguariensis St Hil) by Gonçalves et al. (2013).
