9. Disphaerobius loricatus (Sseliwanoff, 1881)

Terra typica: [Kazakhstan, East Kazakhstan Region] “Zwischen Semipolatinsk und Ajagus” [between Semipalatinsk and Ajagoz—Kz42a*] (Sseliwanoff 1881 a, 1881b) and “inter Semipalatinsk et Ajagus” [Kz42*] (Farzalieva & Zalesskaja 2003; Farzalieva et al. 2017a).

Lithobius loricatus Sseliwanoff, 1881a: 15 (1 ♂); 1881b: 4 (1 ♂).

Lithobius magnificus Trotzina, 1895: 108 (♂).

Previous records. Kazakhstan: Almaty Region —near Saykan station [Kz22] (Dyachkov 2019), East Kazakhstan Region —Saur Mts [Kz28],between Semipalatinsk and Ayagoz[Kz42*,Kz46](Sseliwanoff 1881 a,1881b; Dyachkov 2019), Kostanay Region —Altyn Dala Reserve [Kz54] (Bragina et al. 2020), and Aktobe Region —Mugodzhar hills [Kz64, Kz65*] (Trotzina 1895; Farzalieva et al. 2017a).

Habitat records. Sandy steppe on 400 m; salina [aridisol] near river on 770 m; plant association with Anabasis salsa; unknown habitats on 550 m (Mugodzhar Hills) and 1225–1250 m (Saur Mts) (Farzalieva et al. 2017a; Dyachkov 2019; Bragina et al. 2020).

Remarks. Two papers provide the description of the species: one is in German (Sseliwanoff 1881a), and another one is in Russian (Sseliwanoff 1881b). This species is also known from S Cisuralia (Russia, Orenburg Region) (Farzalieva & Zalesskaja 2003; Farzalieva & Esyunin, 2008; Farzalieva et al. 2017a).
