Keilbachia demissa sp. n.
Material studied. Holotype mal e (NRM): N.E. BURMA (MYANMAR), Kambaiti, 2000 m, 28.iv.1934, R. Malaise. Paratypes (NRM): Same data as holotype but 6800 ft, 7.iv.1934, 1 ɗ; same data but 7000 ft, 15.iv.1934, 1 ɗ; same data but 2000 m, 23.iv.1934, 2 ɗ; same data but 2000 m, 7.9. v.1934, 1 ɗ; same data but 7000 ft, 12.v.1934, 1 ɗ.
Description (male). Head (Fig.1 C). Eye bridge 3–4 facets wide. Prefrons with 12 setae, clypeus with 2 setae. Palpomere 1 with 1 seta. Length/width of flagellomere 4 of antenna 1.70. Thorax. Anterior pronotum with 6 setae, episternum 1 with 9 setae. Wing. Length 2.0 mm, width/length 0.40, c/ w 0.70, R1/R 0.55. rm with 2 setae. Legs. Length of spur/width of front tibia 1.25. Abdomen. Number of setae of sternite 8 not counted. Hypopygium (Fig. 5 C, D). Female: Unknown.
Discussion. Keilbachia demissa is similar to K. scutica and K. flagrispina Mohrig by having its tegmen broadest subbasally, but it differs in having the mesial megaseta of the gonostylus much shorter and less strongly curved (Figs. 5, 7). Keilbachia demissa differs from K. flagrispina also by having the sensory pit of the maxillary palp much wider (Figs. 1 C, 2B).
