Genus Euparatettix Hancock, 1904

Type species: Euparatettix personatus (Bolívar, 1887), by subsequent designation (Kirby, 1910).

Composition. This genus was established for the three species (Hancock, 1904); now it consists of 76 species distributed in Africa, South Asia and the Oriental region (Eades et al., 2015).

Notes. Tumbrinck (2015) recorded that the type species of Euparatettix was designated by Kirby (1914), but actually it made by the same author earlier (Kirby, 1910).
