Material examined: Bihar: VTR: Mangooraha, 16.x.2017, 03 ex., 28.iii.2017, 02 ex. (Coll. Singh and Ahmad).
Diagnosis: Smaller in size than Pingasa rubicaunda and P. rubimontana . Forewing whitish with traces of antemedial line, a prominent short streak in the middle of costa, terminal area of both wings suffused with black. Females paler.
Distribution: India, Bihar (present study); Hong Kong, China (Kendrick, 2002).
