Collection and habitat data.

A large series of this species was captured in Lindgren funnel traps deployed in the forest canopy of an old red oak forest. One individual was found on foliage in a regenerating (20-year-old) mixed forest. Adults were captured during July and August. In Wisconsin, this species was captured in flight intercept traps and malaise traps in sandy oak barrens and a mixed southern forest (Lisberg and Young 2003).
