DISTRIBUTION. Taiwan (Taipei, Lienhuachih).

HOST PLANTS. Dryopteridaceae: Polystichum sp.; Marattiaceae: Angiopteris lygodiifolia; undetermined ferns.

COMMENTS. Only known from Taiwanese material. Three specimens in BMNH, collected from Angiopteris lygodiifolia differ from the description of M. polystichi in several respects and are not determined with certainty.
