Dolichogenidea numenes (Nixon, 1967)

Apanteles numenes Nixon, 1967: 31 . Holotype ♀ (examined)— Java, Indonesia [NHM, Figs 70k 1 –k 2].

Diagnosis. Ovipositor distinctly longer than hind tibia, ovipositor rather thick, with down-curved, attenuated tip; metasoma yellow, except T1 reddish with narrow, darker lateral margin; mesoscutum shiny, with large coarse punctures; propodeum rather long, three posterior fields sharply defined and highly polished; margin of vannal lobe virtually straight beyond the widest part; T1 rather markedly narrowed towards base, entirely rugose, at least mediobasally, becoming polished and almost without sculpture; and T2 polished, more or less smooth.

Distribution. Oriental [China (Hainan: new record), Indonesia, Vietnam].

Remarks. Features of the examined specimen mostly agree with Nixon’s original description in 1967 and type species, except T1 is not very narrowed towards base and T2 is brownish (Fig. 45h).
