Paratype: IAvH-A-3778 (Fig. 10). Adult female. Colombia, Boyacá, Municipio Pajarito, Rio Cusiana, Hacienda Comijoque, K. 86. Original collector José Vicente Rodríguez. Original collector number JVR-3088. 26–28 January 1979 .

Remarks: The collecting locality Hacienda Comijoque today lies near Km 62 of the new road from Sogamoso to Pajarito, and according to other specimens collected in the same locality just at the right margin of the Cusiana River; the geographical coordinates are 5°26'09"N., 72°41'42"W., elevation 2100 m. The original label includes additional morphological information: weight: 19.7 g; Total length: 150 mm, wingspan: 206 mm; soft parts colors: iris: hazel, mandible and maxilla black, tarsus gray.
