Description. Male. Body medium sized. Vertex of head divided into conical tubercles. Legs elongate and slender; fore femora about 1.6 times as long as the pronotum, ventrally with 6–15 spines, internal genicular lobe with a small spine, external genicular lobe with 1 elongate movable spur; fore tibiae ventrally with 2–3 external and 1–2 internal spur(s). Mid femora with an elongate movable spur on the internal and genicular lobe, ventrally unarmed; mid tibiae ventrally with 1 external and 1 internal spur. Hind femora beneath with 7–9 inter spines and without outer spines; hind tibiae above with 47–66 outer and inner spines respectively, arrange in groups. Super internal spur of hind tibiae not exceeding the dorso-apical spine of hind metatarsus (Fig. 1). Hind metatarsus with bristles beneath. Male epiproct rather short and rounded. Epiphallus of male genitalia triangular (Figs. 2–3).

Female. Subgenital plate with hind margin nocthed deeply (Fig. 4). Ovipositor longer than half the length of hind femur.

Coloration. Body yellowish with distinct dark brown stripes. Face with 2–4 light yellowish longitudinal stripes. Legs with dark annular stripes.

Measurements. (length in mm) Body ♂ 11.0–13.0, ♀ 14.0–18.0; pronotum ♂ 4.5–6.0, ♀ 5.0–6.5; fore femora ♂ 8.0–10.0, ♀ 9.2–11.0; hind femora ♂ 15.0–20.0, ♀ 18.5–21.5; ovipositor ♀ 18.5–21.5.

Diagnosis. This species is different from other species in this subgenus in that: hind metatarsus with bristles beneath and fore femora with spines beneath.
