Type species. Tachycines (Tachycines) asynamorus Adelung, 1902 .

Generic diagnosis. Body size variable in Aemodogryllini . Fore femora with or without spines ventrally. Hind femora with or without spines ventrally, hind tibia with internal and external spines dorsally, arranged in groups. Hind metatarsus with apical spine dorsally, ventrally keeled or with bristles. Genitalia of male with middle lobe partly sclerotized and divided into 2–4 lobes apically; epiphallus various.

This genus is rather similar to Diestrammena Brunner von Wattenwyl, 1888, but differentions from the latter in that: the arrangement of spines on hind tibiae being in groups.
