Record as epibiont on ostracods: This species was reported as epibiont on the ostracod Cypris sp. from pond at Stoke Newington, London, England (Kent 1881).

Record as epibiont on other host: This species was also reported as epibiont on cladocerans and as periphytic species (Jankowski 2007).
