Nuchterleinella corneliae Matthes, 1990

Record as epibiont on ostracods: It was recorded on the furca and penis of Cypria ophthalmica (Jurine, 1820) from a marshy spring in Northern Bavaria, Germany (Matthes 1990). This species was also reported on Cypria ophthalmica and Cyclocypris ovum (Jurine, 1820) from Thornhill Pond, Cardiff, U.K. (Griffiths & Evans 1994). It was also reported on Cypria ophthalmica (Jurine, 1820) from a natural, eutrophic pond in a forest (“Hauptsmoorwald”) east of Bamberg, Northern Bavaria, Germany (Schödel 2004, 2014).

Remarks: Epibiont on freshwater ostracods.
