Lecanophryella satyanandani (Santhakumari, 1986)

= Acineta satyanandani Santhakumari, 1986

Record as epibiont on ostracods: This species was first reported by Santhakumari (1986a) from south west coast of India on the ostracod species Cypridina dentata (Müller, 1906) . It was also reported from the North Eastern Arabian Sea, 21°59’84” N; 65°59’52” E, on the same ostracod species (Padmakumar et al. 2015). The epibiont species recently was found on C. dentata in the offshore of the Arabian Sea (Chatterjee et al. 2019b).

Remarks: Reported as epibiont only on ostracods.
