Diagnosis
Adult female. Palptarsus with 2 + 1 eupathidium + 1; pdx present; idiosomal setae lanceolate; vi, pdx, c1, c2 and d1 slightly longer than others; c1: c2 = 1.1, d1: d2 = 1.4, e1: e2 = 0.9, f1: f2 = 1.2, c1: d1: e1: f1 = 1.3: 1.2: 1.0: 1.0; femora I–IV with 4, 4, 3, 2.
Distribution and habitat
PAKISTAN. W. Hyderabad: from an unidentified plant (Chaudhri et al. 1974); N. Balakot: from Hedera himalaica (Chaudhri et al. 1974) .
Remarks
In some respects, T. rhytis is similar to T. turcicus Ayy ₁ld₁z & Doğan in having 2 eupathidia on the palptarsus and c1 being slightly longer than c2, but differs in a unique character in that femur II has 4 setae rather than 3.
