Diagnosis. This species differs from its congeners in the male genitalia by the valva strongly concave distally and fused with ectophallus, and the narrowly folded sacculus.
Redescription. Adult (Fig. 7). Wingspan 18.0‒19.0 mm. Head greyish brown, part of scales tipped with white. Labial palpus black, extending forward; second segment mixed with greyish white on inner surface, slightly longer than diameter of eye; third segment about 1/3 length of second segment, greyish white at apex. Antenna with scape black on dorsal surface, greyish brown on ventral surface; flagellum brown, darker on basal several flagellomeres, cilia on ventral surface same length as diameter of flagellum. Thorax and tegula black, part of scales tipped with greyish white. Forewing relatively narrow, widened from base to distal 1/4, narrowed triangularly to rounded apex; ground coloration greyish brown, with greyish white scales; costal margin straight, greyish brown, mixed with greyish white, with six black dots evenly spaced from basal 1/3 to apex; termen obliquely straight, black; basal patch black, triangular, its outer margin with raised greyish white scales; with six raised black scale tufts on median 1/3 of wing, edged with greyish white scales; fringe black, mixed with greyish white near apex. Hindwing greyish brown; apex narrowly rounded; termen obliquely straight; fringe grey to greyish brown.
Male genitalia (Fig. 15). Uncus semielliptical. Tegumen narrowly banded. Valva strongly concave distally and fused with ectophallus; dorsobasal process rod-shaped, weakly sclerotized, extending obliquely outward, rounded and setose apically; ventrobasal process same length as dorsobasal process, sclerotized and overlapped ventrally; sacculus narrowly folded. Vinculum almost as high as tegumen; saccus slender, about 3/4 length of lateral arm of vinculum, apex rounded. Aedeagus slender, dilated at base, distal 1/3 slightly thickened; cornuti shaped as a row of several strong spines of different size, placed distally.
