Material examined. SERBIA: Stara Planina Mt., Babin Zub, 43.375°N 22.265°E, 1550 m, 1–7.VII.2015, N. Vikhrev (3 ♂, 1 ♀, ZMMU); Crni Vrh Mt., 43.407°N 22.587°E, 800 m, 1–8.v.2015, N. Vikhrev (1 ♂, ZMMU) .
Distribution. Palaearctic: Europe: France, Austria, Italy, Romania and Serbia.
Remarks. This species was described by H. Loew after the material collected by F. Kowarz from “der Alpe Kernecska-Csoka” (Kowarz 1873), probably from present day Romania. However, the lectotype (housed in ZIN) bears Kowarz’ label “Kasan” (Syrovátka 1991; Pont 2011), that is Kazan of Serbia. Our data confirm the presence of the species in Serbia.
