Coryza carinifrons (Reitter, 1900)

Citations: Arasbaran (Prov. of East Azarbayjan; Ghahari et al., 2009a). Comment: The occurrence of this species in the south west of Iran must be confirmed and the identification should be checked. This species is known from neighbouring Turkmenistan so that its occurrence in North or North east of Iran is possible but in south west of Iran must be confirmed.

Coryza tschitscherini Semenov & Znojko, 1927

Studied material: Kazerun (Prov. of Fars), Hoseiniyeh, 28 km North west of Andimeshk (Prov. of Khuzestan). Citations: Sardab-rud, Rudbarak, 1400-2000 m (Prov. of Mazandaran; Heinz, 1970); Without exact locality (Balkenohl, 2003).

Comment: The designation of the above cited specimens should be checked. All studied Iranian Coryza specimens are very similar (or even identical) to Coryza semirubra Andrewes, 1926 .
