Pilumnoides coelhoi Guinot & Macpherson, 1987: 235, pl. II, figs. E–F.

Material examined. None.

Distribution. Western Atlantic—Brazil (Paraíba, Sergipe, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Santa Catarina) (Bertini & Fransozo 2004; Bertini et al. 2004; Melo & Veloso 2005; Almeida & Coelho 2008; Macedo et al. 2012; BarrosAlves et al. 2015).

Remarks. Previous records on the coast of São Paulo include Ubatuba (Bertini & Fransozo 2004; Bertini et al. 2004). This is a poorly known species (Guinot & Macpherson 1987; Melo 1996). The first occurrence was in Abrolhos archipelago, Bahia (Guinot & Macpherson 1987; Melo 1996). Due to the small size and similarity among species of the superfamily Pilumnoidea, this species is difficult to sample and identify.
