Paratypes: ZMB 32826/32827, male, skull, skin; ZMB 87503, skull; ZMB 87504, skull; all specimens “östlich vom Albertsee“ [east of Lake Albert, Uganda]; collected by Schlüter, 1907 or 1908.

Comment: According to Schwarz (1928, p. 11), there should be nine additional paratypes in the collections of MfN Berlin [not found], and further specimens in the Congo-Museum [Royal Museum for Central Africa — Tervuren— Belgium]. The Holotype is in the collections of Natural History Museum, London, no. 1909.12.2.1.
