Holotype: ZMB 86827 / 31919 (= A 4086), skin without skull; Manyema-Land [area of the Manyema people], Democratic Republic of the Congo; acquired by Langheld in Udjidji [Kigoma Ujiji, Tanzania], between 1891 and 1900.
