Lagothrix cana kumaginado Leisewitz

Presumably an unpublished scientific name, may be intended for eventual publication. A valid species description has not been published (kumaginado is not listed in Groves (2005), nor in Mittermeier et al. (2013)).

Comment: An old label contains “ Lagothrix thschudii ”, “ Cuzco ”. The subspecies Lagothrix cana tschudii was described by Pucheran in 1857; the holotype and two paratypes are in the MNHN in Paris, donated by M. Cross on 20 September 1827 (Rode, 1938). The present specimens cannot be considered as type specimens for this species either.
