Remarks. The species is earlier known only by the type material from Costa Rica (Jaschhof & Hippa 2005). We have had difficulties to distinguish M. diversiseta from M. corcovado and suspect that they will turn out to be conspecific. However, study of more extensive material is necessary for a final conclusion.
