T. nairobiensis group

Moderately large species (14–17 mm), body black with red elytra, at most last two abdominal segments and genital segment reddish (Figs. 80, 82, 84, 102). Head with interior ocular puncture situated close to inner margin of eye, ocular groove between interior ocular puncture and inner border of eye very short and shallow, temples with two moderately large, contiguous (Figs. 81, 87) or close, but separated (Figs. 83, 85, 92, 97, 103) setiferous postocular punctures, labrum lobate (e.g., Fig. 88).
