Peromyia brandenburgensis Jaschhof

This species was previously known from a stretch of dry grassland in northeastern Germany (Jaschhof 2017b: 66 f.). Two specimens found in largely similar, open habitats in southern and central Sweden expand the distribution of P. brandenburgensis considerably northwards.

Material examined. Sweden: 1 male, Öland, Mörbylånga, Ullevi, herb-rich meadow next to broadleaf forest, 10 May–1 June 2016, MT, MCJ (spn. CEC 2725 in SDEI) ; 1 male, Dalarna, Orsa, Oljonsbyn, backyard with diverse flora including woody plants, 14–30 July 2016, MT , M. & C. Jaschhof, B. Oldhammer & K. Hedmark (spn. CEC 2726 in NHRS) .
