Maiestas remigia sp. nov.

Length. Male: 3.8–3.9mm; female: 4.3–4.5mm.

Stramineous (Plate III: C). Vertex light yellow with six small, dark brown dots on anterior margin, brown longitudinal band midway between eye and midline, eye from brown to dark (Plate III: C); frontoclypeus with fuscous arcs. Pronotum and scutellum stramineous (Plate III: C). Leg marked with dark brown. Forewing light brown, bor- der of cells fuscous (Plate III: C).

Forewing macropterous, inner anteapical cell open basally.

Male genitalia. Subgenital plate lateral margin slightly convex, apex bluntly rounded (Fig. 21 C); style very long, preapical lobe short and narrow, apophysis digitate, slightly upturned distally (Fig. 21 D); connective lightly longer than aedeagus, aedeagal shaft in lateral view sinuate, slightly broader basally and tapered to obliquely truncate apex (Figs 21 E, 21F).

Female genitalia. Hind margin of seventh sternum with large median U-shape excavation (see Plate IV: F and Plate VI: N).

Material examined. Holotype: ɗ, China, Guangxi Autonomous Region, Fangcheng, Mt. Pinglongshan, 2 December 2001, coll. He Zhiqiang. Paratypes: China, 1ɗ, same data as holotype; Guangxi Autonomous Region: 1Ψ, Daxinxialei, 650m, 1 March 1998, coll. Huang Fusheng (IZCAS); 2ɗ, Fangcheng, Tongzhong, 3 December 2001, coll. He Zhiqiang (1ɗ, BMNH); Hainan Prov.: 1ɗ, Yacheng, 16 May 1983; 1ɗ, Bawangling, 25 May 1983; 1ɗ, Liangyuan, 30 May 1983; 1ɗ, 2ΨΨ, Liangyuan, 1 June 1983; 1Ψ, Qiongzhong, 5 June 1983; 3ΨΨ, Tongshen, 7 June 1983; 1Ψ, Tongshen, 7 June 1983 (BMNH). All collected at light by Zhang Yalin and NWAFU, except where indicated.

Remarks. This species is closely resembles to crura, but the subgenital plate has a more rounded lateral margin and apex (Fig. 21 C) and the style apophysis is smooth (Fig. 21 D).

Etymology. The name of this species is based on the oar-like shape of the connective and aedeagus in lateral view.
