2. Pachyrhynchus ilgas sp. nov.

Only one specimen of this taxon were recently obtained from Northern Samar, thus species is considered to be distributed in northern and central parts of island as other Pachyrhynchus species from this region. For majority of Pachyrhynchus that occurs from Samar Island scale pattern with full bands is characteristic. As example: P. samarensis, P. eos, P. kraslavae . This indication might be linked to inherent environmental factors of island as morphs of male and female genitalia of those species show very distant relation.
