Protosticta damacornu Terzani & Carletti
(Fig. 1)
Comments. Terzani & Carletti (1998) described this species based on a single male collected from “NE India, Megahalaya, East Khasi Hills, Umran, 33 km N of Shillong ”. There have been no additional records of the species since the description. The illustrations of caudal appendages in the original description are lacking details, which became an impediment to comparing this species with gathered Protosticta material from northeast India. We were able to acquire images of the holotype male deposited at the Natural History Museum, University of Florence, Italy, and are providing photographs of holotype’s caudal appendages from ventral and ventro-lateral view that are reproduced here with permission (Fig. 1).
No further specimens are known.
