Sierra Leone to Nigeria; a forest species known from several localities in Ivory Coast, including Lamto; cited as S. limbata Giglio-Tos, 1915 in Roy (1964a), Gillon & Roy (1968), and Roy (1975) (Roy 1996); might occur in the forested areas of the CNP.
