Hemiempusa capensis (Burmeister, 1838):
Africa south of the Sahara; a rather rare savanna species known from Ghana (Ragge & Roy 1967; Roy & Leston 1975), and recorded in Ivory Coast at Lamto and Bouaké (Gillon & Roy 1968; Roy 1975); less opportunistic than Idolomorpha lateralis in colonizing new habitats.
