Senegal to Cameroon: a savanna species recorded from neighboring Ghana and Burkina Faso (Prost & Roy 1986; Ragge & Roy 1967; Roy 1971b; Roy & Leston 1975; pers. obs.); expected to occur at least in the northern parts of the NP.
