Material examined: 1 male, LAO, Hua Phan, near Ban Saleui, 20°13'30''N, 103°59'26''E, 1350-1900 m, 3- 5.4.2014, KJa, leg. C. Holzschuh & locals (OLMG); 1 male, LAO, Hua Phan, near Ban Saleui, 20°13'30''N, 103°59'26''E, 1350-1900 m, 6- 11.4.2014, KJa, leg. C. Holzschuh & locals (OLMG).
Diagnosis. This species can be distinguished from all other Oriental species of the genus by the following characters: lower mandibular tooth distinctly longer than upper one (Fig. 20), face and lower part of mesopleuron sparsely and shallowly punctate (Figs 20, 22, 25), inter-ocellar distance 0.5–0.56 times of ocellocular distance (Fig. 24), fore and middle coxae and trochanters whitish-yellow (Fig. 22), metasoma black with yellow posterior margins of T1–T7 (Figs 18, 22). This species is similar to the Palaearctic species E. albilineatus Kasparyan, 1990, but differs by lower mandibular tooth distinctly longer than upper one (Fig. 20), distinct notauli (Fig. 24), and entirely black face (Fig. 20).
