Plesioperla sakartvella (Zhiltzova, 1956)

Remarks. A rare montane species emerging in spring and summer, hitherto known only from the Lesser Caucasus of Georgia, and the eastern half of the Pontus (Zhiltzova & Cherchesova 2003, Teslenko & Zhiltzova 2009, Darilmaz et al. 2016). The Azerbaijani specimen was found along a fast mountain stream. New for the fauna of Azerbaijan, and our specimen constitutes the first occurrence in the Greater Caucasus.
