Remarks. A common spring and summer species in the Greater Caucasus (Georgia, Krasnodar Krai, Karachay-Cherkessia, North Ossetia), Lesser Caucasus (Armenia, Georgia), the Pontic and central region of Anatolia and the Alborz of Iran (Aubert 1964, Zhiltzova 2003, Darilmaz et al. 2016). In the Azerbaijani Greater Caucasus, it was found mostly along forest brooks and streams, sometimes in huge numbers. New for the fauna of Azerbaijan.
