Simulium (Gomphostilbia) sextuplum Takaoka & Davies, 1995: 28 –32 (Female, pupa and larva).
This species was described from females, pupae and larvae (Takaoka and Davies, 1995). The male of this species is unknown. It is characterized in the female by the frons almost bare except several hairs along both lateral margins, and in the pupa by the gill with six long slender filaments arranged as (2+2)+2 from dorsal to ventral.
The pupae and larvae were collected from Bentong (type locality), Pahang. No additional specimens were available.
