Simulium (Nevermannia) caudisclerum Takaoka & Davies, 1995: 88 –94 (Female, male, pupa and larva).

This species was described from females, males, pupae and larvae collected from small streams (ca. 1,800 m in elevation) in Brinchang, Cameron Highlands (Takaoka and Davies, 1995). No further material was found in other areas. It is characterized in the pupa by the cocoon with a long anterodorsal projection and four slender long filaments in pairs each with a medium-long to long stalk, and in the larva by the presence of an accessory sclerite on each side of the last abdominal segment.
